Our verdict
Most 'travel mahjong' is a compromise that stops feeling like mahjong. The Mini Anywhere keeps the full 160-tile American game — 10 travel-themed jokers included — in a bag that lives in a car or carry-on. At $210 it costs more than full-size budget sets, because miniaturising without ruining readability is the whole product. Buy it as your second set, not your first.
