How we evaluate

Short version: we publish what makers and retailers state, we date-stamp every price, and we never let a listing hide whether racks are included.

Our rules

• Specs come from the maker or the listing retailer — tile counts, sizes, materials and contents are quoted from those sources, and where sources disagree we say so.
• Prices are checked and dated. Every price on this site carries the check date shown in the footer. Amazon prices move fastest; confirm at checkout.
• Tiles-only is a badge, not fine print. The most common disappointment in this category is a beautiful tile set arriving without racks. We badge every product, on every card, everywhere.
• No hands-on claims we haven't made. We do not publish invented play-test scores. Verdicts synthesise specifications, maker history and the structure of each offer — and they say what would have to change for the verdict to change.
• Affiliate links never move a ranking. Some links earn us a commission at no cost to you. Rankings follow the rules above, not the commission table.

Corrections

Found a price or spec that has moved? That is the normal state of this market — tell us via the site owner and we will re-check and update the page with a new date.
